OUR PRESCHOOL DAY

Our Educators

Jami's Early Childhood teaching experience began in 1999. She is the founder and owner of Room to Bloom. Jami has two children of her own. Her oldest has autism, which encouraged her to pursue her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education through Minot State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Dickinson State University with a minor in Art. In her eyes, play couldn't be more fun (and educational) at Room to Bloom!

Nikki joined Room to Bloom in 2019 and has many years of prior experience in the early childhood field. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Dickinson State University and has one child of her own.

Room to Bloom uses the Get Set for School Curriculum to prepare your preschooler for kindergarten. This is the same curriculum the Dickinson Public Schools uses (also known as Learning Without Tears). This ensures a smooth transition for your child when he/she goes to school.  Check out the link at: https://www.lwtears.com/gss.

We love to learn about the world around us by reading in our classroom magazines published by Scholastic. Each classroom uses their own version: My Big World and Let's Find Out.

We recently added Learning Beyond Paper, Inc. Learning Beyond is designed to create learning opportunities for children through peer-based activities and intentional interactions with teachers. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) is a focus throughout each activity starting from infancy.

We all thrive on our routine so our preschoolers love the familiar routine within every class so he or she knows what to expect and feels safe and comfortable within our learning environment.
